What Happened?
On February 8, 2025, a catastrophic China landslide hit Jinping Village in the southwestern Sichuan province, triggered by heavy rainfall and geological factors. The disaster buried 10 houses and left dozens of people missing. Nearly 1,000 personnel are actively involved in the search and rescue operations.
